In the pulle-chain, chain links are only needed as elements to guide cables. Push-pull forces are no longer applied to the chain in the conventional way. Instead, the cable-guiding elements are suspended by tensioning cables and guided by means of a moving carriage and a deflector. By lowering the acting forces, cable routing with reduced vibration and wear is ensured and longer travels can be achieved irrespective of the chain size.
