The handheld spectrometer WaveGo has been designed for use with smartphones. An app calculates all the essential light parameters like colour temperature and illumination and then clearly visualises them graphically. The data is additionally stored in the cloud. The design is inspired by Swiss watches and vintage cameras. Its elements – such as the rotating front cover and automatic shutter – hint at the complexity and precision inside the device.
