YI is a smart door lock made of a combination of toughened glass and zinc alloy which is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and encryption technology. It can be unlocked by various different means depending on user requirements. These include the use of a password, a credit card or a key. It is possible to generate temporary passwords via a smartphone linked to a gateway. In this way, problems caused by lost keys can now also be solved remotely.
