The breath-alcohol tester Dräger Alcotest 5000 was developed for applications in which a large number of people have to be tested within a very short period of time. The alcohol test is carried out without contact with the test person. The replacement of new mouthpieces required in conventional testers is not needed, since the person only blows into a funnel to provide a sample. With its sophisticated design, this special funnel greatly inhibits breathed air from flowing back and thus reduces the risk of infection in subsequent test persons.
