The E3 e-scanner visualises the physical movement of the scanner. The device has two rotational axes, both of which contain a circular design element: the circle at the back wall of the scanner and also the lower hemisphere. In order to visually put the object to be scanned into the centre, it is positioned on a small platform on the hemisphere and additionally framed by the curved top and bottom of the scanner. The device recognises when a new object is inserted and automatically starts scanning.
