Mico is used for the quick preparation of toasts, eggs and potatoes in the microwave. The cookware features a special polymer which is bonded to metal plates and absorbs microwave energy. It heats up to over 240 degrees centigrade and can toast or crisp food by conduction. The food is shielded from the microwaves, yet still cooked in a fraction of the usual cooking time.
