This filter coffee maker uses a precise brewing technique for extensive aroma extraction. It complies with the strict rules of the European Coffee Brewing Center regarding brewing temperature and brewing time as well as water per coffee powder ratio. It also has another function which automates the ritual of the traditional “pour over” preparation slowing the brewing process with the result of a bolder and more flavourful coffee taste. The “Clessidra” form of the machine (the Italian word for hourglass) reflects this process.
