The design language of the plastic housing indicates the direction the puncture will take place. The device features a microneedle and a patented cannula insertion mechanism, which determines the exact injection depth and angle of the cannula. Prior to the injection the microneedle is unlocked at the touch of a button, and after the injection it is retracted into the housing to prevent needle prick injuries.
