The 3D printers of the HP Jet Fusion 500 / 300 series were conceived for small and medium-sized product development teams, design firms and universities. They produce prototypes and functional parts in full colour. The user is guided by a colour touch display and animated step-by-step tutorials. LED displays indicate those areas where maintenance tasks have to be carried out. The environmentally friendly printer automatically removes excess print material and uses it for the next print job.
