The Norsap 1800 Active is a marine helmsman chair with a newly developed design. The central element is a strong seat base of cast aluminium with two load-bearing rollers which are integrated into the form. The rollers allow the seat module to be lifted or tilted independently of the armrests. The main design element is the backrest silhouette, which is created by the prominent shoulders and the tall headrest. The cast backrest surfaces are slightly convex with two highlights that extend from the base and blend into the shoulders.
