The development of this washing machine series focused on design principles geared towards ergonomics, which led to structural changes. On the one hand, the drums of the top-loaders were elevated by 72.8 mm to allow for a more convenient unloading of the washed clothes. On the other hand, the drum opening was widened by 21 mm. Additionally, the operating panel was repositioned so that users do not have to lean forward anymore. That makes handling significantly more comfortable.
