The Z3 ski helmet features an outer shell made of high-strength polycarbonate and an inner shell made of polystyrene foam with a ventilated structure. Two aerators in the upper area, and a vent in the rear area, ensure balanced air circulation and the removal of moist air. They comply with the class A CE standards 1077, and keep foreign particles at bay thanks to a steel net. The soft ear pads are made of thermoformed material and synthetic leather; they are protected by a net, which allows the surroundings to be easily audible.
