These snail tongs are adjustable to fit the size of different snails. In contrast to conventional snail tongs, the mechanism for opening and closing here works the other way round. Correspondingly, the tongs firmly lock the snail when the handle is squeezed and then fixed by means of a cogwheel mechanism. Later, the locking system can be easily unlocked by the push of a button.
