Anakot is a gas cylinder whose special feature is that it has a seamless container made of high-strength aluminium alloy. The weight and the maintenance costs are thus reduced in comparison with composite, welded steel and welded aluminium cylinders. Damaged components can be quickly and cheaply replaced. The top and bottom of the aluminium body are equipped with impact resistant plastic parts which protect the valve and the standing base. Furthermore, the cylinder, which is 100 per cent recyclable, has a gas level indicator based on thermochromic technology.
