These design elements are integrated in a highly consistent manner into the overall appearance of the new BMW 5 Series Touring, resulting in a car design that knows how to fascinate. The contours of the car’s exterior surfaces play a key role here: the nearer you get to the car, the more vibrant and dynamic these surfaces appear and, close up, turn into an exciting interplay of light and shade. Following a stringent overall concept, the flowing lines of the BMW 5 Series Touring’s design vocabulary are also taken up in the interior. Here the horizontal lines and the captivating sweep of the two parallel contour lines on the ergonomically shaped instrument panel convey a strong sense of elegance and flowing lightness. The interior too integrates a sporting and dynamic appearance and merges them into a harmonious balance.
