The Smartbook AC100 is a hybrid between smartphone and netbook. Accordingly, it is very slim and light, measuring at its thinnest point a mere 12 mm while weighing only 870 grammes. The pre-installed operating system is Android BS, well-known from smartphones. The Smartbook is controllable via touchpad or mouse, which can be connected via USB port or Bluetooth. Battery life lasts up to seven hours, with standby time amounting to around 180 hours. The unit is equipped with a 10.1” display and can be operated just like a small computer thanks to its keyboard and touchpad. The compact form and textured surfaces render a contemporary impression and are oriented to the demands of mobile users.
