In contrast to full-body CTs, this extremity scanner is distinguished by higher resolution, patient adaptability and lower radiation doses. Its design is welcoming and friendly with an individual touch. The device’s appearance is characterised by a teardrop-shaped imaging bore and the so-called “bite” in the outer rim, which makes patient positioning easier. The adjustable gantry, with its soft surface and various positioning options, moreover supports the comfortable position of the patient.
