Who has not heard of the space saving-, samba- or retractable stairs? They are a compromise between accessibility and convenience. To date, stairs used to access nearby rooms such as lofts or mezzanines have been neither very comfortable nor safe. Despite the small amount of floor space of one square metre they take up, the space-saving stairs from Kenngott are exceptionally comfortable to use. Their most noticeable feature is the spiral-shaped, stainless steel central handrail. The treads come in a wide choice of materials.
