The Deco wood-framed eyeglasses are available in 16 different colour combinations and are predominately made from Finnish birch. The more exotic types of wood that decorate the frame, such as wenge and Oregon pine, are recycled leftovers from the furniture industry. The glasses are highly sturdy yet also extremely light at a weight of 12 grams. Since the frame is springy and retains its form, it is able to do without hinges.
