The washing board Kollengass Anno 1740 is as “durable as an ancient oak”. The heartwood is obtained from the dismantling of old timbered houses. This is what gives each washing table its unique structure and colour shade. The timbers are hand-brushed with great craftsmanship and their natural structure is brought to the fore with a special sealing finish. The water supply and drains are covered and, in combination with its wall mounting, make the washing table appear to float.
