The Audi virtual cockpit is a fully digital instrument cluster in the form of a 12.3” TFT monitor which displays all information directly in the driver’s visual axis. The driver has the option of two types of display. In the classic view, the speedometer and rev counter appear as detailed, seemingly three-dimensional graphics in the foreground. In infotainment mode they appear smaller, so that more space is allocated to providing functions dedicated to navigation, communication or entertainment. The system is operated via the multifunctional steering wheel.
