The Modat-531 is an Androidbased industrial digital assistant for professional use. It has a barcode scanner and NFC connectivity, along with conventional smartphone functions like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, camera, microphone and speaker. The PDA meets the IP67 standard and is thus protected against dust and water. The device is also impact-resistant up to a drop height of 1.2 metres and can withstand temperature fluctuations ranging from –10 to +50 degrees centigrade. The device is robust, lightweight and compact, allowing it to be integrated into various working fields.
