The Samesame No. 02 glass carafe is part of a product series of converted glass objects made from standard bottles. Industrially manufactured glass bottles for mineral water are revalued both functionally and aesthetically in terms of traditional craftsmanship. The distinctive features of those industrial bottles are preserved but individual aesthetic aspects are added: a unique piece of high value handcrafted by a glass maker originates from a standardised mass product.
