The Stir armchair is characterised by its distinctly light and airy appearance. Made of beech plywood, it has a curved back covered with soft fabric upholstery. Its special feature, however, is its base, whose semi-circular lines reflect the construction of the armrests. Inspired by Okiagari Koboshi dolls, Stir is not firmly anchored to the ground, but gently rocks to and fro. The main focus of the design thereby was on wellbeing.
