The Astore management system enables safe, accurate and fast dispensing of medication in hospitals. It consists of three modules: the main station, the external cabinet and the wall station. Only authorised clinicians have access to the system, using a password, fingerprint identification or an ID card. Besides the dispensing of medication in specific doses for individual patients, the system also monitors stock to avoid shortages in patient care. The smooth, flat surfaces of the individual modules have antibacterial properties and are thus easy to keep hygienically clean.
