The WGSolar-P solar module is made of waveguide material, a silicon solar cell and an ultra-light support. The light waveguide material overcomes the barriers created by the incidence angle of sunlight and thus improves the absorption rate by five per cent. The solar modules, which can also be attached to vertical walls, are weather-resistant and self-cleaning. With a total weight of 9 kg, they are lighter than conventional models, whereas their charge capacity and compressive strength is twice as high.
