Panama is a smart, space-saving syphon. Instead of the traditional gooseneck, it functions with a return valve integrated into the pipe. On its way from the sink to the drainpipe, the water flows through the syphon and thereby pushes the flexible return valve to the side. After that, the valve shuts off the pipe again so that neither water nor odours can escape upwards. For installation, the syphon must merely be connected with the drainpipe.
