With the Multitom Rax robot-supported 3D X-ray scanner, a wide variety of examinations from different clinical fields can be carried out with a single system. The fully automated arms controlled by robotic technology move around the patients when they are sitting, standing or lying down. Thus, there is no need for patients to be repositioned or change rooms. The dynamic contours of the scanner put the focus on its three main functional elements: detector, X-ray head and table. The positioning of the control and display elements supports fluent use of the system.
