This mechanical wristwatch is distinctly different from other models of this type due to its particular accuracy. This is achieved by means of an innovative escapement, consisting of a single piece of monocrystalline silicon, which replaces the balance wheel with hairspring and anchor. In place of the usual 5 mm size, this component measures only 0.5 mm. Furthermore, the movement runs at the very high frequency of 18 hertz, whereby the average daily rate deviation is only 0.3 seconds a day. This value can be held for well over 24 hours.
