Lid-Lite is a solar light which can be screwed onto conventional plastic bottles using an integrated thread. A solar cell, which stores solar energy during the day, is installed in the flat top of the module. The stored energy lights up the small lamp on the other side of the module at night. Once the module is screwed onto a bottle, the plastic of the bottle acts as a reflector and produces different lighting effects, depending on the colour and size of the bottle.
