The outline of this ring is laser cut from a 0.8 mm thick platinum sheet. It is then folded to achieve an even, very strong ring structure to contain holes in which the diamonds are mounted. All eleven gems are cut to Tolkowsky brilliants. They have a diameter of 2.5 mm and a uniform degree of blue fluorescence. Due to the sturdy form of the platinum which gives the fine diamonds a secure hold, the ring gives a resilient and at the same time fragile impression.
