The HD830 external hard drive is virtually indestructible. Strong protection is provided by a robust triple-layer construction with a hard silicone casing, a shock-absorbing buffer and a cushioned mounting that keeps the drive in place. The unit is encased in a sandblasted aluminium shell capable of withstanding pressure of up to 3,000 kg. Moreover, the hard drive is water- and dustproof, allowing it to survive falls from up to 1.22 metres.
