The i*pike RS2 offers high driving safety on snowy and icy roads thanks to its new studs and a new tread pattern. The studs have a bump cavity on the underside, which reduces their impact noise. Reinforced slots around the studs increase traction further. The tread blocks are arranged in wide zigzag lines at the centre. The shoulder uses 2-in-1 blocks with serrated grooves, which enhance both performance and noise generation.
