The CST Platform is a circular stapler for gastrointestinal anastomosis which has been completely redesigned to eliminate the problem of staple deformation due to the piston effect. To this end, the internal supporting structure was removed in order to gain more space for the flat, even absorption of the tissue. The innovative leverage-control structure increases the concentricity of the anti-expansion tube and improves its anti-deflection performance to ensure that the staples are correctly formed.
