The ART-U was constructed with the objective of merging current design trends and energy-efficient operation. The heat exchange inside the fan coil has been optimised for sustainability with the help of computational fluid dynamics simulations as well as through the use of BLDC electric motors. The housing is slim with a minimum depth of only 10 cm. Its neutral appearance matches both modern and classic furnishing styles.
