The Knirps Ultra Light Safety Duomatic model has been developed to meet the safety demands of the Japanese market. A special feature prevents the umbrella from accidentally springing back open when it is closed. This makes the model particularly reliable – an important point especially when used by children. Thanks to high-tech materials such as fibreglass, aluminium and extra-thin polyester, the umbrella weighs only 210 grams. Nevertheless, its stability has been tested in a wind tunnel up to 120 km / h.
