TD-16N is a bulldozer with a large blade and a rear-mounted ripper for moving large amounts of earth material. The main objective in developing the TD-16N was to provide the operator with an optimal view of the blade, ripper, tracks and construction site. As part of the user-centred design process, the driver’s cab was placed at the centre of the machine, before designing the shield, chassis and everything else around the cab. On this basis, the view has been increased to 309 degrees, ergonomics improved and a safe and efficient working environment created.
