The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP has been redesigned for motor-sport use. The panelling improves aerodynamics by directing the airflow around the machine. Winglets give the rider more control over the motorcycle at any speed. The shortening of the engine length ensures an ideal weight distribution between the front and rear wheel. The aluminium frame has been reconfigured so that it does not require an upper crossbar. With optimised stiffness and reduced weight, it provides more stability during acceleration and braking.
