Lugging a cold IV pole around the hospital is one of the most uncomfortable and humiliating experiences a patient must endure, yet endure they must until a cheaper alternative to gravity is found to dispense medication. This design replaces the pole with a backpack that also converts to a stroller and is equipped with a peristaltic pump that would weigh less than 5 lbs. The overall cost is less than that of the pole and conventional pump.
