VARD is a major global designer and builder of specialized vessels in the offshore oil and gas exploration industries, as well as production and oil services. Montaag was commissioned to conceptualize and design, from the inside out, the next generation Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel (OSCV): a 180-meter long ship that houses up to 150 people. The concept’s two overarching goals—a significantly more economical and efficient ship that results in a wider operational window, and an elevation of onboard quality-of-life to attract future captains and crew to their new "home away from home."
