Stella is a surgical light with two optical systems in a single body. Each system has its own lenses, filters and reflectors, joined at one optical axis. Stella combines halogen light and gas discharge technology for shadow-controlled, large-area illumination with high contrast and depth. This combination enables shadow-free illumination of the area surrounding the incision and deep in the surgical site, supporting stereoscopic vision. Stella’s unique operating philosophy offers optimal luminance adaptable to the surgeon’s preference, and variable depth of illumination – both adjustable using a sterilizable handgrip or a separate operating panel.
