The chrome single-lever basin mixer Metropol S is notable for its clear, geometric shapes. It is striking in the purism of its straight lines, slim form, and carefully balanced proportions. Two of its main features are the slim spout and the bar handle – the faucet can literally be operated by the touch of a finger. The understated concave arch of the handle balances the (mirror) smooth surface of the spout and provides an exciting contrast. Metropol S comes with the latest mixer technology, housed in the new M2 ceramic cartridge; the greatly reduced lines of the latter are what make the slim design of this faucet possible. The mixer has a controllable hot water cut-off (safety function), and the integrated water dimmer reduces the flow to about 50% with no loss of comfort.
