This magnetic resonance tomograph is currently the only 1.5 Tesla scanner of its kind, which offers sufficient room particularly for overweight patients. With a compact length of only 125 cm and an extended tunnel diameter of 70 cm, the Magnetom Espree’s design has dimensions otherwise only known from the computer tomograph world. The open modularity combines patient comfort with imaging quality and the best possible diagnosis offered by a high-field system.
