DJs have created a new playing style and category by "scratching" analog records. The SL-DZ1200, designed for music CDs, enables the full use of scratch techniques that professional DJs enjoy with analog records. A wider variety of sources can further broaden musical expression. This is a CD player designed for professional DJs. The slip disks used by professional DJs – the main users of this product – were adopted in the design process of the SL-DZ1200. The basic operation layout, button shape, lighting and LC display are also designed by taking into account ease of use and visibility in the DJ studio booth. SD cards and MP3s can also be used. We aim to establish a standard for professional DJs in this digital media age.
