outlook 4 is a symbiosis of black carbon tube and brackets in a polished chromium finish yielding an interesting contrast between the textile structure of the carbon tube and the metallic surface. Bracket and finial have become one evolving a strong accent to each side of the tube although being in line with the tube. The integral mechanism – developed and patented by interstil – allows extreme wide spans without intermediate brackets. The mechanism is based on an engineering principle in which a hardened string that runs inside the tube in an off-centre arrangement, is put under tension. The tension is applied by turning a screw hidden inside of the brackets allowing the pole to be adjusted for any curtain weight until it’s perfectly straight.
