Resectoscopes are used for endoscopic, urological prostate treatment. The OES Pro 2 comprises five basic snap-fit modules, which can be easily taken apart and reassembled in different variations. The modules are retro-compatible, from the 1994 instrument generation (!) to the most recent one, introduced in 2000. The unique handling is based on an ergonomic, bruise-free thumb ring for holding and controlling the instrument. That is why – another first in this market – the ring is available in two sizes. The gripping elements have been optimised to avoid finger wedging between shaft and grips. All modules are now click connected (plug-in connection system). The look of the product meets the company’s corporate product design specifications for all instruments (around 500).
