Hearse based on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Enlarged about 1200 mm to a total length of 6100 mm. Based upon the symbols and visual traditions of the English funeral culture, Omniel shows a forward cabin for drivers and pall-bearers, which interprets the coffin chamber as a “glass room”. The “Cinderella”-aspect of the hearse meets the demands of the funeral professional. The design integrates complex curved glass and bodywork in order to achieve an overall impression of “openness” and transparency. The vehicle is constructed using an advanced combination of steel chassis and glassfibre-sandwich body.
