A fully-manual digital camera – “Fun to carry and use” – packed in a compact and slim body. An aluminum alloy was adopted for the body and lens mirror, emphasizing the camera’s texture. A non-slip grip is provided. We pursued an emotional design to inspire the user while giving consideration to operability, including one-touch individual operation. The DMC-LX1 is equipped with the world’s first 8.4 megapixel and 16:9 wide CCD, plus 4x optical zoom lens for wide angle of 28 mm to 112 mm. A compact, fully-manual camera in a traditional full metal body that tugs at the heartstrings of creative users, including photo lovers and silver camera lovers. We aimed at embodying the “integration of a camera’s invariable value with the latest digital technology.”
