Nearly every manual wheelchair – the variety reaches from paediatric wheelchairs to chairs for special care – can be retrofitted with e·fix. The user can propel his own customized wheelchair either electrically or manually just by uncoupling the motors. Each of e·fix’ four components weighs no more than 9 kg. Simply taken off by quick releases they provide for an easy transport of the wheelchair in the car.
