The IBM System Storage EXP3000 is an entry level data storage server that is optimized for cost-sensitive and space-limited environments that demand both feature-rich and high-performance solutions. Its high density chassis compacts twelve 3.5-inch disk drives into an EIA 2U rackmountable enclosure enabling 3.6TB of physical data storage. Due to the high density of this product, system status indicators and branding are intelligently routed outside the chassis and placed over the EIA mounting rails. The EXP3000 employs a user centered design that enables ease of use and simple tool-less installation and removal of all components.
